What is the Chicago Workers’ School?

Chicago Workers’ School is a Marxist education group in Chicago. It is not a party or part of a national organization, but a group of people living in Chicago who decided to come together to learn Marxism, the worldview of the most class-conscious workers. Because we have recognized that Marxism, above all else, has been best able to explain the way the world works, we strive to introduce it to our class brothers and sisters so that they too may see the world clearly, beyond the fog of confusion put forward by the exploiting class. Ultimately, as Marx said, we seek not only to understand the world, but to change it.
